SAD symptoms
Seasonal affective disorder is a type of depression which is dependent on seasons. Shortly termed as SAD is variation in victim’s mood with the change of season. Normally it starts with the fall and ends up in winter. Normally people confuse it with some winter disease which is actually not the case, it is apparent before winter too. SAD is also termed or recongnized as winter blues, winter depression, or even sometimes the hibernation reaction. Like many other depression types this perticular type of depression is also very much common in women than men. Well if we talk about age association then there is no perticular age group which is more likely to have this disease. Normally SAD is associated with following symptoms.

REASON FOR SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER (SAD):
Perhaps the changes in the normal circadian rhythm of the body are the cause of Seasonal affective disorder, Light entering into our eyes this lights causes changes in this rhythm. In the night melatonin is produced by a gland name Pineal which results in drowsiness. When the light enters in the morning (dawn) production of melatonin is immediately stopped. SAD is also caused by the side-affects of some antidepressants.
